The Eclipse Team headed north to volunteer with Chicago Cares at Hayt (Stephen K.) Elementary School. Students from grades 1-3 gathered around members of the team to read Ganesha's Sweet Tooth, by Emily Haynes. EclipseCares Bagging Fresh Produce

The Eclipse Team was eager to help put together bags of oranges, onions, peppers, potatoes, and more to support the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry's hunger relief program! The food was later redistributed in a grocery-store like environment to people in the local community!

Each month, the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry schedules over twenty-two hundred volunteer hours to help serve nearly fourteen hundred families. September is Hunger Action Month. Learn how YOU can take action at the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry!
