Chicago, IL – Up and coming business, Eclipse Telecom, announced today the hiring of Brian Oddo, a promising young intern from the south suburbs.  Brian, a Miami University student, decided to forego signing with the Chicago Bulls or Miami Heat despite his historic junior year as a walk on for the D1 varsity team.  Brian has spoken with the media in response to his hiring.

“Even though I had exceeded expectations on the court this year, averaging 1 point per game and 0.3 steals per game, I decided to take my passion to a company who matches my intensity and love for business.  After doing some research and talking to my agent, we agreed that Eclipse Telecom is a place that will be able to nurture my development as a person and as a professional.  I am going to give everything I have to the company.  I think we are going to make an outstanding team.  I have accomplished everything I could have wanted on the court and now I am ready to take on the office.”

Brian Oddo is a marketing major at the nationally ranked Farmer School of Business at Miami University who says his interest in telecommunications sparked at the young age of 10 when he first realized he could use his computer to talk to girls outside of recess.  Brian Oddo is also a member of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi.  In his free time, Brian enjoys playing guitar, hanging out with friends, and going to the movies.

More information of the new Eclipse Telecom acquisition is expected as we get updates from our reporters.
